Q: Hi Mr. Ellingson,
I have a transmission fluttering, shuttering, bucking... I'm not really sure how to describe it. My car is a 2012 Honda Accord and has 42,000 miles on it. The dealer reports no problem found when I take it there. It's frustrating and expensive. This is the 3rd time I have taken it there. I need my car and I still have 5 years of payments but my factory warranty runs out at 60,000 miles. I need a pros advice. What should I do? - Maria
A: Maria,
Thank you for your question. At Tire Pros of Frederick our advice is always free. The first question I have for you is did you perform the 30,000 mile service? The good news is I suspect your problem is minor and not expensive to repair yet. Please don't neglect the condition, it leads to expensive repairs. We would start with a free diagnosis of your transmission issue, then give you a free estimate. I suspect your issue can be corrected by a power flush and treatment with our additives which protect against shutter and shutter related damage. With this service you will be eligible for $2000.00 worth of warranty coverage if your transmission should fail. This service only costs $169.00 and provides that warranty peace of mind. Also, when you do service work with Tire Pros of Frederick we will give you one year of FREE roadside assistance and guarantee the lowest price. Hope this helps. Please feel free to call or email if you have any more questions. 301-663-6334
