Q: I have a 2008 Chrysler 300 and I had to drive my car through about a foot of snow to get home from work last weekend. Now my check engine light is on and also a red lightning bolt light. and it started vibrating in idle. I waited a few days and tried driving it again. At first it seemed ok then sitting in line at McDonald's it started again. - Harold
A: Harold,
It is very possible that you may have some broken wires or unplugged or broken sensors from going through such deep snow. It could also possibily some moisture into one of the modules. The best way to figure out what is wrong is to bring it by Tire Pros of Frederick and let us hook your car up to a computer that will tell us what codes are stored from the Check Engine Light. We won't charge you to tell you what is wrong, and we will give you an affordable estimate on what, if anything, it would cost to correct the issue.
