Q: How exactly does my clutch work? - Steve

A: Hi Steve, 

Your clutch plays an important part in your vehicle's operation. The clutch pedal is used to activate the clutch. The clutch then engages the flywheel. Once engaged, the flywheel allows the transmission to be shifted from one gear to another. Don't forget, clutches are no different than most other parts in your vehicle - they wear out depending on how carefully they are used while driving!
